SKD-100D used for monitoring deformationof the walls of an ancient temple

In this project, the monitoring targets are the walls of an ancient temple which is named Yongle Palace and located in Shanxi province, China.

Because of its more than 600 years of history, the temple walls are very unstable and may tilt or collapse. So we need to fixed our laser distance sensors in some important positions in the temple to detect and monitoring the deformation of the walls. If the deformation of the walls exceeds a safe value, the alarm will be triggered, too.

We used more than 20 sensors and another type of wireless communication modules to build the system.
